Lab-Grown Diamond Jewelry — 3 Years
Manufacturing warranty for 3 years from the date of purchase.

What’s Covered

Our manufacturing warranty covers confirmed manufacturing or craftsmanship defects, including:

• Items Arriving Damaged – If your jewelry arrives damaged or with a visible defect, we’ll repair or replace it at no cost.
• Defective Clasps or Closures – Clasps, hinges, or closures that do not function properly due to a manufacturing defect.
• Loose or Misaligned Stones Upon Arrival – Stones that arrive loose, unevenly set, or incorrectly positioned.
• Manufacturing Defects in Metal – Structural imperfections, such as cracks, pits, or other defects that affect the integrity of the piece.
• Incorrect Item Received – If we send the wrong item, size, finish, or variation, we’ll make it right at no cost.

For approved warranty claims, we will determine whether repair or replacement is the most appropriate solution based on the condition and availability of the piece.

What’s Not Covered

Our warranty is designed to cover manufacturing defects rather than damage or changes that occur through normal wear. It does not cover:

• Normal Wear & Tear – Scratches, dents, marks, worn plating, or other changes that naturally occur with regular wear.
• Fading, Tarnishing & Discoloration – Changes in color or finish caused by normal wear or exposure to water, moisture, perfumes, lotions, cleaning products, chemicals, heat, pools, hot tubs, or other environmental factors.
• Accidental Damage – Damage caused by impact, dropping, pulling, snagging, crushing, improper handling, or other external forces.
• Stone Loss Due to Damage or Wear – Stones lost as a result of impact, damaged or worn settings, improper care, or other external causes.
• Worn Prongs or Settings – Prongs and other metal components can naturally wear over time. Maintenance required as a result of regular wear is not considered a manufacturing defect.
• Clasp or Closure Damage From Wear – Clasps, hinges, or closures that loosen or break due to regular use, accidental force, or improper handling.
• Misshapen Rings, Cuffs or Bangles – Bending or warping caused by pressure, impact, catching on objects, repeated adjustment, or everyday wear.
• Chain Damage – Delicate chains that break due to pulling, stretching, snagging, or other external force.
• Lost or Stolen Jewelry – Lost, misplaced, or stolen pieces are not covered.
• Improper Care or Storage – Damage resulting from cleaning, wearing, or storing jewelry contrary to our recommended care instructions.
• Third-Party Repairs or Alterations – Repairs, resizing, polishing, soldering, stone setting, or other alterations performed by a jeweler or third party outside of Someone & HerOwn may void the warranty.

Additional circumstances may be excluded if our team determines that the issue was not caused by a manufacturing or craftsmanship defect.

How to Make a Claim

Contact us within 2 years of purchase for Moissanite jewelry or 3 years for Lab-Grown Diamond jewelry.

2. Include your order number, a brief description of the issue, and clear photos of the piece.
3. Our team will review your claim and explain the next steps.

If the issue is covered, we’ll arrange a repair or replacement at no cost to you. The appropriate solution depends on the condition and availability of your piece.
